Looks like another really pretty day out...
I'm really looking forward to the Styx/REO Speedwagon concert coming up, and am hoping it'll be a nice day. I remember when I saw Weird Al at the State Fair a couple of years ago, and the fireworks started up in the middle of 'Yoda', making me very happy. I think it'll be a very good day.
I really wish I didn't feel so weird lately. For the past three days I've been feeling sick in waves, sorta. And I haven't been that hungry for a week or so. Hopefully this will all go away quickly.
Probably about time I started writing in good fingerings for Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings. It goes into around 7th position for violin I, and I really don't think my section will be able to do that, judging by what I've seen on simpler music played by them. You know what they do? Okay. They don't know how it's supposed to sound because they don't care about the music or the emotion it's supposed to bring out, and they guess on intonation. Half of them still don't even use vibrato, for the love of God. Watson still gives them good test grades. I just hope things turn around this year. Oh, and the hardest part of Mars should be the counting for us, and the directing in 5/4 time for Watson... hehehe... oh gosh. When we first played through that song with the full orchestra, I just followed Alan because I knew how the violin I part works with his part. In an effort to not get myself really wound up about my doubts of orchestra, I'm done with this paragraph.
Um... yeah. Maybe I'll do that dating profile thing later. We'll see how that goes.
Oh! I have yet to see a sunset this summer. I walked up to the park once or twice around that time, but didn't stay for the whole thing. So that is still on my list. I know there was more, but I don't remember now and am unwilling to look for a list that possibly doesn't even exist. There was my lj post a long time ago, but that doesn't cover everything I wanted, I don't think.
All righty, then, have a magnificent day.

YAY
why is it that so many people hate wierd al? well, I assume that they heard him do a song that they liked and they were offended or they were around somebody bad mouthing him or they dont like his voice or whatever. you may argue he sucks but he really doesn't - he's fucking awesome.... anyway
I love YODA! you're lucky to have good days as good as that. *thumbs up
